Wrap It Up in Under 5 mins with Only 4 Ingredients
This delicious wrap is my emergency “fast-food” lunch when I need something quick and easy that requires zero cooking, chopping or prepping. Super convenient for on-the-go or to bring to work!
4-Ingredients:
*Since the ingredients are all pre-made and store bought, I’ve tried to find the best minimally processed, all-natural products to make sure this “fast food” lunch is still healthy and nutritious! All great staples to always have stored in your kitchen. Below brands are some good options:
- Whole Wheat Tortilla Wrap: I look for wraps that contain minimal ingredients. My favorite are: Mission Carb Balance Super Soft tacos (whole wheat), Food For Life Sprouted Tortillas , and La Tortilla Factory.
2. Fresh salsa from your local supermarket - The fresh ones are always best because they usually contain just a few all-natural ingredients and no oils.
3. Organic, low sodium refried black beans.
4. Organic Corn: Frozen or canned work. Organic and low sodium is always best.
5. Optional: Crushed red pepper.
Layer:
- Lay the tortilla on a flat surface (If it’s coming out of the refrigerator and a bit hard, microwave for 10-12 secs to soften in, especially the sprouted ones).
- Spread a layer of the refried beans over the tortilla.
- Then place organic corn (u can microwave the corn for 90 seconds if using frozen).
- Top with Salsa. (and finally crushed red pepper if using)
- Wrap your roll. Once wrapped, I roll it into a piece of paper towel and then again in sheet of tin foil so it’s easy to bring on the go!
